Seeking an associate technical writer who can author and edit product related technical literature.
This writer should have the ability to research, organize, and develop writing projects for user materials and supporting software programs by working closely with different project managers from R&D, Regulatory and Marketing.
The customers and clients for this technical literature include the patients, nurses, physicians, marketing and technical support members.
This writer should also have the ability to learn an XML-based document content management system.
Desired/ Preferred
Qualifications:
o InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Adobe Illustrator experience
o Ability to produce documents and managing files in a controlled systems environment (workflow, permissions, versions, etc. are system controlled)
o Experience working in an XML (or SGML) structured authoring environment
o Experience using a content management system and integrated toolsets
o Degree in English, Technical Communication, or Journalism preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
