Well-established, reputable San Fernando Valley-based healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Clinical Analyst:
Job Description
Responsible for development and distribution of clinically oriented management data and decision-making tools to the organization.
Will develop and monitor clinical performance metrics and trends as required for continuous quality improvement.
Responsible for data collection, analysis and reporting related to Pay-for-Performance programs.
Due to the more complicated nature, this position will require greater technical, analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
This position will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills via participation in various work groups with all levels of staff/management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the area of clinically oriented metrics/analysis.
Knowledge of CPT codes and training/certification as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
Must possess excellent communication, time management and computer skills.
Must possess a solid working knowledge of computers and various software applications for data mining, analysis and reporting (i.e., a database or applications such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Requires strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Must be detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.
Must be able to work independently and as a team leader/member on a variety of assignments with minimal direction and fluctuating workload.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
